CFM leads work teams year round that are life changing and will leave you with a new world view. Teens and adults from all over the world come to Haiti and find that when you get here – you never want to leave. Whether painting a church, building bunk beds, doing yard work and just playing with a child everyone can come and find a place with CFM. The people are beautiful and full of life. No matter how great their needs are, they always seem to have a smile on their faces.
One of our goals during the trip is for the people that go have time to from personal relationships with the Haitian people that come up to the mission house or out where we are working. CFM realizes that just going and working there, or driving around seeing the poor has an effect on us. By the time we get home and get back into our routines we will soon forget, but if we get to know the people and from a relationship it has a everlasting effect on us. We soon realize that these people our loving people who just want the same things we want but just don’t have the opportunity.
